The Municipal Library of Esposende promoted an exhibition entitled "The Children Illustration of Poland", which was shown during the month of October. It was interesting to see the work of illustrators. Some of the books ilustration works were translated into Portuguese as we know, such as the "Fables of One Thousand and One Nights," written by Marian Walentynowicz, and also "Crow and the Cheese", popularly known as "The Fox and the Crow," written by Andrezj Wiercienski.
Some of the books on display are part of the National Reading Plan, as is the case of "I'm sorry ... By Chance You're A Witch?" Written by Paweł Pawlak.
This exhibition was in the context of the Comenius Regio partnership project between the municipalities of Esposende and Daleszyce.
We loved to feel again the connetion with Poland.
